DIRECTOR
SASHA PALMER
Sasha Palmer is bringing over 18 years of previous collegiate coaching experience to The
Blueprint. Currently Sasha is the CEO and Director of the Nike EYBL club, HER Elite. She
started HER Elite from scratch October 1, 2025 and in her first 9 months having the program,
HER Elite was offered a NIKE EYBL spot on the most prestigious girls basketball circuit.
Before starting her own girls basketball club, Sasha was a co-director of the Finest Basketball
Club, FBC, which she joined in the spring of 2019. She worked in all facets of the business:
events, marketing, scheduling, and of course coaching.
Palmer has coached many players who have earned all-conference, Rookie of the Year, WNBA draftees, and was part of FBC United team that had 4 McDonald’s All-Americans in 2020. Since transitioning from the college ranks to the club side in 2019, Sasha Palmer has had 12 McDonald’s All Americans.
Prior to entering the club basketball circuit, her coaching experience includes collegiate stops at Syracuse University, The University of Wisconsin, and most recently Georgia Tech.
Palmer arrived in Georgia, after spending 18 years at the college level. Most recently she was a part of the Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball program where she coached the ACC Rookie of the Year, Elizabeth Balogun (former FBC standout) and 2 players who were selected to the All-Conference teams.
Before coming to the Flats, Palmer was an assistant coach at The University of Wisconsin and also acted as the recruiting coordinator, helping ink a top 25 recruiting class in 2018 which included two top 100 ranked prospects. With the Badgers, Palmer oversaw the player
development of the program’s post players, coaching three to all-Big Ten Conference honors and two to professional playing contracts overseas.
Palmer spent the two seasons prior to her arrival at Wisconsin as an assistant coach at Syracuse (2013-15). In her two seasons with the Orange, Syracuse combined for a 45-20 record, secured two NCAA Tournament berths and broke into the nation’s top 25 team rankings both seasons.
Additionally, Palmer helped Syracuse finish in the top five in the Atlantic Coast Conference both seasons and helped guide 2 players to the WNBA and 4 to the overseas ranks.
Before breaking in to the Division I ranks, Palmer served as the head coach at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown for six seasons (2007-13) at the Division II school. Palmer brought her recruiting talent to Pitt-Johnstown where she mentored three All-Americans, two West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year players and many all-conference selections.
From 2003-07, Palmer broke into the coaching world starting as an assistant coach at
Shippensburg University. During her tenure at Shippensburg, Palmer worked with the 2004
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Rookie of the Year and two-time all-
PSAC Western Division selection players. Palmer also coached the 2007 PSAC Rookie of the
Year, who led the conference in scoring as a freshman.
Before entering the coaching world, Palmer was an All-American in the college ranks attending Northern Michigan University. From here she went on to play professional basketball overseas with stops in Switzerland and Luxembourg. Palmer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Psychology.
Sash is also a member of the prestigious McDonalds All American selection committee. Where the committee selects who is a McDonalds All American each year.
Sasha has two children; one daughter, Payton, who is a member of our 2029 Nike HER Elite
family, and a 4-year-old son, Justice aka Deuce. EVERY PLAN STARTS WITH A

MARKESHA A. GRANT
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COACH
She is a Personal Development Coach, a Motivational Speaker, a consultant for nonprofit programs, a National Girl’s Basketball Evaluator, and a trailblazing basketball change agent. Grant is the Founder and CEO of Savvy Skills, LLC. It is a resource committed to helping student-athletes transform the way they think about life and sports— through progressive forward-thinking and transformative action.
Grant is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology, and a Master of Education in Educational-Technology. Grant is also a former women’s basketball standout for the Hall of Fame player and two-time women’s basketball national championship coach, Dawn Staley.
Grant was honored with a commemorative brick at the University of South Carolina’s horseshoe for being one of 20 impactful and powerful black women to leave a lasting legacy at the university. Nevertheless, Grant is very passionate about providing safe spaces for youth and young adults that will help them find their authentic selves.
