Sasha Palmer is bringing over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience to The Blueprint. Sasha joined the Finest Basketball Club, FBC, in the spring of 2019. She works in all facets of the business: events, marketing, coaching and is CEO and co-founder of our recruiting service ‘The Blueprint’.

Palmer has coached many players who have earned all-conference, Rookie of the Year, WNBA draftees, and was part of FBC United team that had 4 McDonald’s All-Americans this past season.

Prior to entering the AAU basketball circuit, her coaching experience includes stops at Syracuse, The University of Wisconsin, and most recently Georgia Tech.

Palmer arrived with the Wolfpack, after spending 17 years at the college level. Most recently she was a part of the Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball program where she coached the ACC Rookie of the Year, Elizabeth Balogun (former FBC standout) and 2 players who were selected to the All-Conference teams.

Before coming to the Flats, Palmer was an assistant coach at The University of Wisconsin and also acted as the recruiting coordinator, helping ink a top 25 recruiting class in 2018 which included two top-100 ranked prospects. With the Badgers, Palmer oversaw the player development of the program’s post players, coaching three to all-Big Ten Conference honors and two to professional playing contracts overseas.

Palmer spent the two seasons prior to her arrival at Wisconsin as an assistant coach at Syracuse (2013-15). In her two seasons with the Orange, Syracuse combined for a 45-20 record, secured two NCAA Tournament berths and broke into the nation’s top 25 team rankings both seasons.

Additionally, Palmer helped Syracuse finish in the top five in the Atlantic Coast Conference both seasons and helped guide 2 players to the WNBA and 4 to the overseas ranks.

Before breaking in to the Division I ranks, Palmer served as the head coach at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown for six seasons (2007-13) at the Division II school. Palmer brought her recruiting talent to Pitt-Johnstown where she mentored three All-Americans, two West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year players and many all-conference selections.

From 2003-07, Palmer broke into the coaching world starting as an assistant coach at Shippensburg University. During her tenure at Shippensburg, Palmer worked with the 2004 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Rookie of the Year and two-time all-PSAC Western Division selection players. Palmer also coached the 2007 PSAC Rookie of the Year, who led the conference in scoring as a freshman.

Before entering the coaching world, Palmer was an All-American in the college ranks attending Northern Michigan University from here she went on to play professional basketball overseas with stops in Switzerland and Luxembourg. Palmer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Psychology.

Sasha is married to Jamal Palmer, who is a men’s basketball coach and they have one daughter, Payton, who is a member of our youngest FBC team, The Younggunz 2029. EVERY PLAN STARTS WITH A BLUEPRINT; WHAT IS YOURS?
